Approaching drawing as an expanded practice, his current research centres on making hybrid sculptural assemblages, bringing together lo-fi materials and 20th century pictorial conventions to form mistranslated and fragile monuments. Murray completed an MLitt in Fine Art Practice at Glasgow School of Art in 2022. Solo exhibitions include: Faded Angel, Glasgow (2023); Shine! Shine! Shine! Blow! Blow! Loud! Loud! Land! Land!
