Beth Shapeero (b.1985) is an artist based in Glasgow. Her solo practice is predominantly abstraction, working across different mediums including printmaking, painting, and installation. Her work often involves people and strives to promote connection through art practice.
She has delivered solo presentations for 16 Nicholson Street Gallery (Glasgow, 2022), Studio Pavilion at House for at Art Lover (Glasgow, 2022) and was awarded the prestigious ARMA commission which took place in The Tetley (Leeds, 2022). She has also exhibited work at The Royal Scottish Academy (Edinburgh, 2022), Tramway (Glasgow 2017), The Royal Standard (Liverpool 2015) and Two Queens Gallery (Leicester 2014).  Her work has been showcased at the 2014, 2016 and 2018 iterations of Glasgow International Festival. International exhibitions include Art Athina (Athens), Sim Gallery (Reykjavik), Fabriksgatan 48 (Gothenberg), Aalto Media Lume Centre, (Helsinki), Palast de Produktion (Bremen) and Gotland Artist’s Association (Gotland).

In her collaborative practice with artists Fraser Taylor (Two-Step) the pair recently created a major installation for Platform in Glasgow.  In 2023 they had a solo show at Glasgow Print Studio as well exhibiting at Kelvingrove Gallery (Glasgow). They also created installations for The Royal Scottish Academy (Edinburgh, 2022), The Beacon Arts Centre (Greenock, 2020) and were commissioned to make a large-scale work for The Hidden Door festival (Edinburgh, 2020 and 2024).  Two-Step are currently working with Edinburgh Printmakers towards a future exhibition. 2025
