Artist-led gallery ShapeeroMurray warmly invited visitors to attend its 2025 group exhibition, Open House. Exhibited in a Govanhill tenement flat in Glasgow, the show ran in conjunction with the inaugural Southside Art Weekender and brought together work by emerging and established Glasgow-based artists.

The collection celebrated the curious and the candid. Bodily abstraction and distinct modes of storytelling were translated through drawing, painting, print, photography, and sculpture. Observations that were both absurd and tender explored uncanny voids and failed states. Visitors were welcomed to join the Southside community and step inside this diverse and ambitious collection of work.

ShapeeroMurray was also thrilled to launch  35 x 35—a new print series featuring thirty-five Glasgow-based artists. The project was launched alongside the Open House exhibition, with the evening marking the first release of five archival Giclée prints, each limited to an edition of thirty-five and printed on sustainable bamboo paper.

The first collection featured five eclectic and ambitious female artists. Frizzy hair, frayed edges, weary eyes, and erotic bodies all hinted towards an unhinged wilderness beneath the surface.

35 x 35 offered collectors accessibly priced editions from renowned artists and lesser-known voices. The project furthered ShapeeroMurray's goal of supporting artists and enabling them to continue making their essential and urgent work in a challenging arts economy.
