About the Artist:Fraser Taylor (b.1960) studied Printed Textiles at Glasgow School of Art and the Royal College of Art. He co-founded The Cloth, a creative studio focused on contemporary textile design and production.

About the Edition:The Morvich series of digital prints depict pages from a sketchbook that Fraser Taylor produced in 1981 during his final year at The Glasgow School of Art. He was on a drawing field trip located in a village on the west coast of Scotland called Morvich. On a bright sunny day, he walked along the top of a stone wall and was struck by the image of his shadow being cast over the mountainous landscape. This was a pivotal moment as his two interests, the figure and landscape merged. Forty-four years later these images are still relevant to his interdisciplinary practice.
