About
Oscar Marcus Boyle (b. 1997), is a Glasgow-based artist with a diverse practice spanning from narrative soft-pastel drawings to improvisational performances combining work by live musicians with spoken-word extracts from the artist’s prose work.

In October 2023, he exhibited in ‘Dust Roulette’ at Glasgow Project Room, a three person show with artists Isaac Heard and Andy Murray. Later in the year he will release ‘The Conspiracy of Remains’, his debut poetry collection on Godspeed Press, and will be London Fine Art Society’s ‘December Resident’. He has been interviewed by Saatchi Art and was named in 2022 as one of their ‘Rising Stars’. With Filip Velkovski, he co-curated ‘Faded Angel’ , a solo exhition of the work of Andy Murray at the Haberdashery (Glasgow) in May 2023, and his writing was published in the accompanying publication. He attended the Slade School of Fine Art and the Glasgow School of Art for his under-and-post-graduate degrees respectively.
