Biography
Glasgow. She studied at the Royal College of Art, graduating in 2012
with an MA in Visual Communication. Her drawings take inspiration from
horror films and television - in particular make-over shows. The
strangeness of the everyday and the idea of transformation informs her
work. She primarily uses oil-bar, watercolour gouache and cut outs when
realising her visions.
Sandra co-programs the Cineclube Aparição, Monthly film series in Lisbon
with Charleine Boieiro. Since 2011, the artist has also been
collaborating with Laura Scott on a correspondence project where
drawings are exchanged and modified via fax machines.
