About the Edition: A one-off silkscreen monotype, created in 2023 at Glasgow Print Studio. Part of the 'Fingers in Pink' - a series of 30 unique prints referring to fingers and bodies. The playful and chaotic screen-printing process makes space for errors in printing and sensual, unique marks to emerge. Disruptions in the forms and ink application are embraced, as are mistakes, misprints and tears or folds in the paper they are printed on. These add to the texture of the work, and the relationship to the body - the beauty in imperfections and quirks.
